As of today, due to personal issues going on with me and my need to get my life in order, I am resigning from the National Committee as an At-Large member. It's been a long time coming.

I'll see everyone around. I'll still be in the Party, but you won't hear from me that much.

As for the BTPMI, whoever wants to do it, that's fine with me. I just don't have the time to do it now.

Since I've been called a "right-libertarian" (it's not true, as I am a Sheldon Richman left-libertarian) and a supporter of capitalism (which is what we have now, and I don't support capitalism at all), I'd like to unveil my new organization I formed recently. It's called the Benjamin Ricketson Tucker Institute, which is an educational/research organization dedicated to the writings and ideals of Benjamin Ricketson Tucker, a "socialist" who despised the term "capitalism" in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

In the last few weeks, the Boston Tea Party wrapped up its 2010 convention with a run-off election because a couple of candidates vying for the National Committee's At-Large member spot officially lost their race to the party membership's choice of NOTA.

As of tonight, I am resurrecting the Boston Tea Party of Michigan (BTPMI). I will be contacting Mike Saliba and see about resurrecting the Party there. Considering Jason Gatties is dropping out of LP and BTP politics and has decided against merging the BTPMI with the Natural Law Party of Michigan because it's been taken over by socialists, it's up to me and Mike to resurrect the Party.

I am looking for people who live in Michigan who are interested in joining the BTPMI. This will have to wait after the At-large vote.

Hello Fellow BTP'ers:

Despite what I had originally planned, there won't be a convention key note speech that I was going to be giving this year. Although I was going to give such a speech on the opening of the convention, I decided against it because of personal and other issues affecting my life which have been on my mind more than the convention itself, and, more to the point, my mind hasn't been on the convention that much anyway.

Considering I recently came back into the BTP fold, I have decided that it's time to get this Party back into the business of securing -- or at least securing -- ballot access status in all 50 states, expanding our numbers, and uniting everyone in the business of reducing the cost, size, and scope of the state.

With that in mind, I have decided, after my recent resignation from the Secretary seat, to run for the national committee again, this time as an At-Large Rep. With that in mind, I am announcing my run for At-Large Rep.

Due to the snide and pathetic remarks made by Mr. Chrysaetos and his sniveling rants laced with ad hominems at me in his posts, I've changed my mind.

I'm coming back to the BTP. I'm here for good.

And this time I ain't leaving.
