I have been taking with Jim Davidson about reviving the BTP-NC. My ulterior motive is to make the BTP-NC an active voice for presenting the libertarian perspective on NC issues through letters, op eds, press release and a website.

In my not-so-humble opinion, the LPNC is not doing this and doesn't seem able or willing to do this. I may be totally off base. If so, I'm certain my libertarian brethren here will straighten me out.

To this end, I have drafted some bylaws (based on Michigan) and will post them here. Meanwhile, I'd like to know if there is interest here in pursing the goal of reforming the BTP-NC for this purpose.
